Courage is more exhilarating than fear
and in the long run it is easier.
We do not have to become heroes overnight.
Just a step at a time, meeting each thing that comes up,
seeing it is not as dreadful as it appeared,
and discovering we have the strength to stare it down.
Eleanor Roosevelt, 1884 - 1962
First Lady of the United States
I received this email from inspiration peak which I have subscribed for years. After reading the above text , it immediately motivated me as though as I gone through a 'minute of motivation'. How true, just take one step at a time to overcome whatever problems you may be facing, be it a mountain of pressurizing workload, illness, obstacles and etc. After all, we are not made to multi-tasks... even if we multi-tasks, we still do one task at a time. Something to ponder on..... hahaha .. and hope this quote motivates you too!
Oh yeah, I am back with my favourite Shokado Wazen bento which consist of chawanmushi, sashimi, tempura, teriyaki chicken, miso soup and a hot green tea. What a wonderful bento after a workout. :)
I like "one step at a time", yeah, "yat pou yat pou lei".. Need time la to adapt, Rome wasn't build in a day.. As always, I like your bento, looks so "hoi wai"..
ReplyDeletePrincess - yeah, I came across this motivational email and thought it's great to share with everyone. Everything has to be done one task at a time with full focus.
DeleteAnd, that's my favourite bento!
Salmon sashimi is my all time favourite
ReplyDeleteSharon - Me too! I love everything salmon.
DeleteYes, one step at a time and one thing at a time. That's my mantra after coming back to work. So many things to clear. That looks like a very substantial bento!
ReplyDeletePhong - yes, do it one at a time gradually.

Stp - blogger having problems again ? Yes, it's the same bento.
Deletei like this post.. very inspiring and also motivating.. and you are right, take it one step at a time and it's not healthy if we are expecting huge progress all the time.. only with a step at a time, we would be able to be more stably grounded.. :)
ReplyDeleteSk - everything have to be done one step at a time.
