Refreshing afternoon.....

Glad to go back to the church again last Saturday and also celebrated the Holy Communion since it was the first service of the month. The experience was refreshing and I look forward to a nice Japanese dinner at night. But before that, we had a simple lunch at Moonlight Cake House again since my kid, whose birthday is around the corner, wanted it. So , I took it as a small celebration for him since I will be at work during his birthday.

He and his sis ordered kids meals for the first time there. Usually, my wifey will not allowed them to order the kids meal as it seems not value for money with a little portion of the food. She rather ordered the typical serving and shared with them.

A bento set for my little princess , consist of fries, nuggets, mochi, salad and yakult.

A rice set for my kid where it came with fish balls, a nicely decorated fish in rice, vegetables, mochi and Yakult.

I had a Chicken fillet croissant sandwich with fries. The chicken is crunchy and the  meal is filling. Good to last me until 7pm after my church service.

Both bro and sis so delighted...

My wife was not too hungry and she got herself a home-made mushroom soup and she can't even finish it. The portion was big!

I had my usual flat white after the meal

And, my little princess had her mini strawberry cake, with yam slices.

Too busy eating her cake. She didn't manage to finish her bento and my wifey gotta help her ...hahaha...
And, that's another relaxing afternoon..... before I headed off for my service. My kids were kinda lazy  that day and I didn't bring them to church school.

  1. I like the look of your missus' mushroom soup - thick and creamy! And I'd love your croissant sandwich too - I love croissants and I love sandwiches...and the way they did yours sure seemed very appetising! Not too fond of so much mayo though, just a bit would do.

    1. STP - She can't even finished it. The soup was home-made and it was thick. I guess it really makes a full meal. Yeah, I also don't like too many mayo but the chicken really crunchy.

  2. Same here dear.. I dont usually order the kids set (unless if its kids eat for free) coz Kz wont be able to finish it by himself anyway.. We usually order adult portion and give him some to share.. Princess's bento look more in portion and more filling, hehe..

  3. There's not very much food on your son's set. No wonder your missus is not keen on the kid's set. The mushroom soup looks good. I don't mind having that as a main meal.

  6. now I know you refer to your son when you say "my kid".. bcos kid can be either a boy or a girl, but since you refer to your daughter by "Princess" then kid must be your boy la.. I'll remember this now so I won't be confused.. :p
