Hi-Tea at Moonlight ...

It was a pleasant Saturday afternoon and what a great time to dine at the newly opened Moonlight restaurant in Permas Jaya. I guess this is their no. 6 branch in JB , if I am not wrong. Like most bistro in JB, they sold pastry and cakes but also maintained a restaurant to dine in and served nice coffee. This is a great place to wind down for a chat with friends. I had my lunch + tea there before heading to church for the evening services.

Moonlight Cake house in Permas Jaya, JB

A view of the bistro

Lots of buns on sale

And delicious cakes!

oh...here's my flat white coffee...served first.

My kid ordered a mouth watering Aglio Olio

I had a BBQ meat rice ... looks like char siew rice ..lol

My kids shared a fried rice with my wifey as the portion looks big

My little princess looking forward to something ... since it's a cake house ...

Oh yes..her little strawberry cake and a chocolate cake for her bro.
After a full meal, I head for church as I was involved in ushering duties that evening.

  1. They could have come out with a nicer name that that - this sounds more like a Chinese restaurant....and I would need more the one solitary sausage.

  7. I'm not sure why, but the term "moonlight rendezvous" swam in my mind while I was reading your post, Chris.

Whenever I see a cafe with a variety of cakes and buns, my mouth tend to water with hunger. Man, that strawberry cake is tempting me to sink my face into some cakes, lol.
