It's been a while since I dined at Crystal Jade La Mian restaurant in Singapore. That was last friday evening where my pretty model-looking niece and I were getting ready to make a trip back to JB at Bugis Junction. It was peak hour then and all eateries were crowded with long queues. I guess the buka puasa didn't help either and almost of the restaurants are full!! After searching around, we finally found one with a shorter queue, which is Crystal Jade. Due to shortage of land, most of the eateries in SG are quite cramp and you could heard conversations at the next tables, despite seated separately. :)
The meal was enough to fill us for the not too long trip back to JB. Afterall, it's late at around 9pm and the CIQ crowd has dispersed. The peak at the CIQ on Fridays usually occured around 6pm-8.30pm. It was a smooth journey!! :)
The tables are so close to each other! |
Chicken wine soup noodles for my pretty niece. The soup was very fragrant as I can smell the wine from afar. |
I had a braised beef noodles. The beef was nicely marinated and delicious. I love the soup too, it was good. |
I also had a lime-lemon juice to refresh myself |
Aikks no picture of your pretty niece ahh? I like the chicken wine soup noodles.. Oh ya restaurants like Kimgary, Mongkok, Cravings the tables all very near to each other one.. Hehe

ReplyDeleteThe Braised beef Noodles looked delicious! You mean the restaurants were crammed and you got a cramp? You saw aunty and leg kena cramp? Muahahaha
ReplyDeleteI hate it when the tables are so close to one another. Want to carry on a private conversation also difficult. This type of restaurant I just eat and leave. No hanging around LOL.
ReplyDeleteAnd the rental also not cheap, got a time, i went at a Malay eatery shop in Westgate, the shop was small with not much seats, happen to chat a bit with the lady, she said the rental there 5 figures, which shock me, as i thought it's 4 figures for a small space...
ReplyDeleteGood you had a smooth journey home! ;)
ReplyDeleteNot Japanese? Don't look very different, I would say.
