It was a long day for me as I sat in to listen to a six-hour long presentations given by six different vendors, starting at 9am. By the time the presentations were over, I was yawning despite having three cups of coffee. By around 5.30pm which it ended, I decided to call it a day and after an hour long journey where I catch some naps, I reached the gym. Still feeling a bit sleepy, I tried to workout hoping that I feel fresher after that. And it is really true especially after my short run on the treadmill. I felt awake suddenly after the run ! And, mentioned about running, I used to run slow and short but after I started running longer, I find that I needed to run longer to feel good! LOL ..well, I guess that's the effect of getting addicted to the feel good feeling of exercise but I think its not a bad thing.
I thought of having Japanese food tonight as I have a craving for chawanmushi but somehow it was the peak hour for dinner by 7pm+ and I gotta settled for some less crowded eateries. I had Subway instead. Tried their World Cup promotion of Chicken breast sandwich but I find it average only. The good thing is it keeps me full as there was a big slice of meat in the sandwich.
Well, I will always try to avoid the peak hour as usual for lunch or dinner at the malls, so that I can enjoy a quiet meal. Have a good mid-week, folks! :)

Didn't you have Subway not too long ago...or was it someone else? Hmmm...you need some wholesome homecooked meals.
ReplyDeleteSTP - subway is just nearby my place. I can have it daily too. Lol
DeleteWah, listen to the talk from 9am-5.30pm, like working hours.. But at least working hours got lunch time, can stand up, walk around, blow water, etc. But for the talk, cannot lor, hehe..

DeleteWhen was the time you did not crave for Japanese, Chris? ;) Almost all your posts have Japanese food in them. Not that I am complaining because I am a fan too! Lol.

ReplyDeleteSK - in sg , it is so crowded where you are like sharing the tables even in restaurants. You guys will sit very close to each other and can listen to the conversations.
DeleteOh? I didn't know Subway has this world cup thingy haha, or could it be available in Sg only?
ReplyDeleteKen - dunno leh ...maybe in sg only. I don't really like the subway in malaysia compare to sg.

ReplyDeleteWhen I was studying in the local college here, I patronized Subway a little too much during my first semester (because I had back-to-back classes) until I couldn't fathom the idea of having it for lunch again. =O
It wasn't until a couple of months ago that I had a Subway sandwich again.
Waverly - LOL ..I do take cooked food most of the time. haha.
