Shopping start to the year ...

I started the year very prosperous ....but on the other way round. It was spending and spending on shopping! The first two days of the year were spent going to Johor premium outlets, two Aeons and another mall. And, my wifey and kids did haul up some clothes, toys and fashion apparels especially for the coming Chinese New Year. As for me, I didn't buy much except a Levi straight cut model 505 jeans,  two short pants, two shirts and almost got a football jersey in JPO. Anyway, my biggest haul was a Jabra wireless+ sports headset as well as an Asics sneakers. And, that was the most expensive sneakers I ever own!! Time to save up now... sigh...

I was actually at a sports shop where they did computerised foot analysis. Seeing that I always have problems with my choices of shoes, I decided to give it a try and got recommended to this Asics Gel Nimbus 16 Lite-show shoes. The cushioning was very good when I tried it and I think I won't get it wrong this time round. Will look forward to my first run of the year. :)

Had some nice food over the last few days. On New Year's eve, I had my last Japanese meal for 2014 in a mini miso sapporo ramen and a mini Yakimeshi.

Then, when I was back in JB, we patronised a newly opened steamboat in Taman Molek at Pavillion steam boat. The ingredients are fresh and quite chunky while they claimed the soup do not have any seasoning or 'ajinomoto' added. Well, I didn't feel thirsty after having the meal which I believe they could be right.

Steamboat ingredients for 3 persons

Bacon slices

Getting ready...
Other than that, it was rest from work as I took a day off on Friday as well as workouts, as well as spending quality time with my family. Have a good weekend! :)

  6. Apparently, I went shopping with family at AEON on New Year Eve and having steamboat the evening before New Year Eve too.

Me too, have got enough CNY apparels for myself and my two girls.

Surprisingly I rejected the offer of my husband for taking us to Penang for shopping before the school open. I want to save up too.

Happy New Year to you and your family.

  9. How much did you pay for that pair of shoes? =O

For NYE, there was nothing out of the ordinary... except that I spent the afternoon with a childhood friend of mine. =D Most of the shopping happened on the actual day itself, lol.
