Imported noodles!!!

This is one precious 'kampua' noodles which flew miles across the South China Sea to the southern part of West Malaysia. And, in addition, since my family and I were not around when the Poslaju men delivered the package, I have to drive around 10KM to Pasir Gudang from JB. Since I am not familiar with the Pasir Gudang area, I gotta stop by two petrol kiosks to ask for directions to the Poslaju warehouse under a rainy day. When I got the parcel, I was like ..phew... I finally got it.... How precious is it!! LOL... 

Thus, this will certainly make the noodles tastier and it was still looking good and in one piece. I will try it later since I am already back in Singapore. Thanks again STP for your kind gift! :) Hope to try the cooked kampua noodles by the experts in Sibu some day!

    One can order now and collect at some place at Kelana Jaya in PJ. RM.150 more than the price here...which is cheap...compared to the poslaju charges! *faints*

    Too bad you had to go through all that, Chris. Good in a way - at least, you get to see and learn about the surrounding areas. Hope you think it's worth it once you've tried. Of course - nothing like the real thing, you'll have to come here for that, but this comes quite close.

    Whoa, precious noodles.. Traveled so much, plus that additional 10KM drive.. It's worth it, bet they're delicious..

    really very precious in your case huh?? all the way across the sea to the southern tip of the country, and then driving 10km to collect it by hand.. why didn't you cook it right away that day?? :p

    eih, very nice one!! make sure you cook to eat.. and once you eaten, you would want to fly to Sibu immediately to have the more authentic ones cooked to order :p

    Yeah, this is as close to the real thing as you can get! :)

    I still have a couple of packs at my home, and I eat it once in a while. It's really good, and that's coming from a Sibu guy. You'll love it!
