After we left Zenxin and fetch my sis-in-law, we decided to visit the park at the foot of Gunung Lambak. This mountain was very popular in Kluang and even Singaporeans where lots of folks came over here to hike.
The guide leading to the peak as well as a nearby peak and alternative routes
I heard from most of the folks who have been here and it's not really that tough to hike but then, let's not overestimate it. I never really hike much today as it was late but manage to go around at the foot of the mountain. Anyway, I plan to hike up to the peak soon.

A hanging bridge

At the beginning of the trail, there was a cement path as a 'warm up'. However, the path will be replaced by natural  terrain after a short while.

A tiny waterfall here...

Strange looking branch ...

Shelter for folks to rest...

Here's the short hanging bridge again
I guess I will be hiking up this mountain soon. I heard that it took around 1 hour to reach the peak.

Since my kids wanted to cycle at Zenxin Organic Park, where I had some vouchers, I decided to go Kluang again last Saturday. I have been to Kluang very frequently lately as I needed to fetch my sis-in-law, who's staying temporarily there. It was a good 50 mins drive though it rained heavily in some parts of the road.

Once I reached there, I saw the below and immediately my curiosity reached sky high. I really wonder how the organic version tasted, as well as the durians doesn't seems expensive.

When I tried the durian, it's good. I love the sweet and bitter taste in its pungent flesh! At Rm5 per kilo, I think it's not expensive as the one I bought was quite big. My wife and I can't even finished it! Anyway, I still wondering what's so 'organic' in it.... no pesticides ? LOL

yums....
Meanwhile, my kids were cycling in the scorching sun in the afternoon and I was sweating profusely! They too, definitely were sweating and I decided to cut short the activity after they cycled for a while.

having fun....

Maybe it's time to introduce him two wheels ....

My little princess can't really cycle the full swing but manage to move around

Having problems with the slope and needed my wifey's help...
We were off to Kluang town after that.

I really thought it's a good idea to bring the kids closer to nature and Zenxin Organic Park in Kluang, which is kids' friendly, was a good choice! My kid was asking me to bring him there to join the short tour around the park and I thought why not, as I only needed to spend around  RM5-8 for the tour for each person. It's so much cheaper compared to those theme parks. :P  My little princess was given free access too. And, walking around under the sun and seeing the greens are way much better than seeing whatever on the ipad.

The kids really enjoyed themselves there as  they got goodies bags, free ice-creams, running around without worried about vehicles, cycling, get themselves sweaty and dirty, beautiful scenery, free snacks as well as get to feed bunnies and fishes. As for adults, it's kinda relaxing getaway and we really  got closer to nature. Though the weather was hot,  I had a great time over there. I have been there for many times to shop but didn't really went inside the farm.

She's not even afraid of them at the first sight...

It was not a pleasant drive to Kluang last Saturday as it was raining heavily all the way till we almost reached Machap R&R.From there, it was just a few Km to the Ayer Hitam toll. I was there to bring my kid and sis in law for their chinese sinseh checkup as well as have my pulse checked too by that famous sinseh in town.

Once done, I was back to Kluang Railway Coffee again after almost a year. It was refreshing to enjoy the kaya toast and a nice cuppa of coffee , though I have been cutting down to 2 cups a day. I simply love the kaya, it was so delicious!!

My wifey was a fan of mee rebus and thus, she ordered, which was one of the specialty there. Somehow I find that the food at the original Kluang railway coffee are much better than their branches like those in Ikano Power Centre and etc. Let me know your opinions too if you have been to both.

Mee Rebus

While we are enjoying our food, my little princess was playing 'masak masak' and even made me a 'cup of coffee'..hahaha...  We drove back to JB in a nice cooling weather after the rain before entering Senai (U) interchange to go to Johor premium outlet. It was tiring when I got back but then, it's been awhile since I drove around like this.

Then, woke up early on Sunday but still late for church service. However, I still persisted to go to service as I do not want to skip too many services. It was a great sermon by an invited Pastor, who talked on Spiritual maturity. After listening to it, I don't really think I am that mature...hahaha... After service, I packed some chicken rice home for lunch before going back to church again for my baptism class, all happened within 1.5 hour. It was a great sharing and time really passed without me noticing it  and I am back home again .Took a quick nap before taking my family out for dinner and came back to Singapore after that for another work week.

It was a good weekend for me. Have a bless week!
