Exercise...exercise....workout!! This activity has been occupying my time for a long time that I can't remember how long, but only for the last three years, I did it consistently. Typically, for the last thre years, I almost workout for 5 days a week which includes all various activities like badminton, running and gym. I am not well-built and no six packs, but somehow I find exercise really helps me to feel good,  relieved stress and makes me sleep better and feel healthier. Of course I do get sick but generally, I feel healthier. And, the best thing is after a good workout, I generally feel good and can wind down the day in good mood. On stressful days, it helps to reduce my stress and if I did a long run, say, 10KM , it actually clears my mind! 

Somehow, I had a stressful evening one of the weeknights last week and I really appreciated a 30 minutes run which helps me to feel better. It was late and the gym was closing in an hour but I still check in in order to get a run and some workouts so that I can feel good.

Thus, since I always blogged on well-being, this post is to encourage everybody to exercise!! Check with your doctor first if you have a condition or never exercise at all! Start with any sports you like and I am sure you will reap the benefits!

And, btw, I had a juicy Sirloin Steak in Hot Tomato Cafe at Bedok Mall. Not a bad deal, Sirloin Steak with pasta, tomato soup and coffee for around S$15. It's wonderful!! :)

Hope you guys have a good long weekend and well, it's back to work on Tuesday. I am on leave today in order to rest from all the travelling over the weekend but will go back to Singapore tonight. I miss exercise and sweating it out, thus, I am planning to go to the gym later for a short workout and a run.

Well, last Wednesday after a badminton session, I was having dinner with my colleague and we talked about folks who work too hard and never exercise. The stress build up over the years with late nights and munching on unhealthy food were deem too bad for the body. My colleague was also very active in physical exercise and we thought folks who suddenly struck with a disease due to stress and inactiveness, are really not worth it. The company can always replaced the person but the family cannot replace the family member. We make it a point to always make time for exercise though of course, it does not guaranteed we will be disease-free but at least, it's better than no exercise. After all, a doctor once told me physical exercise can help prevent certain old-age diseases. Anyway, this is just our opinion.

Had a company gathering in Swensen and I decided to go for their Sirloin Steak and an ice-cream. 
The steak was delicious, done to my requirements which was medium-well, not so raw and not too cooked. It was just nice and dipping into the black pepper sauce was really good!! I am yearning for another steak now...hahaha... afterall, the piece of meat was not so fat, mostly lean meat.

The ice-cream was nice too but it's a little bit sweet and after finishing it, I really felt the 'fullness' in my stomach. I guess I should order simple ice-cream next time like three scoops or banana splits. Have a good week and workout, folks!

I was not feeling too good especially on the first and second day of the work week. Not sure why , probably could be due to working blues, forgettable weekends (thanks to the fri and sat weekends in Johor), some personal decisions to made and etc. Anyway, thanks to exercise again, it manage to lift me up after a workout routine which comprises of weights and cardio exercises. Well, I was at the gym on Mon and Tues evenings and I certainly felt better gradually , especially after a good night sleep!

Don't get me wrong as I don't look like a bodybuilder but then, I have been working out regularly and I really felt that exercise can makes us feel good and lift up our mood. It also makes me sleep better and feel more relax. I guess I look more healthy too. There were times when I felt lazy to workout especially on a late evening, like 8pm, but I do try to force myself to go and once I am there, all the laziness has gone and I felt so much better after the routine.I also recently consumed a light protein supplement to help me in my workouts.

Thus, if you have been exercising, do continued to keep it up and if you thought of doing so but haven't started yet, I do encourage you to take the first step but slowly and gradually.

After a badminton session tonight, I decided to have something healthy where I order a salmon steak at Hot Pepper meals. :)
