.....times of refreshing.....

I was kinda busy since the new year has started and don't really have much time to update my blog. The Chinese New Year is around the corner and I guess you folks must be busy shopping for new clothes, food, drinks, bak kwa and other delicacies. It's the best time of the year and I hope you folks enjoy the moment. I will be celebrating my CNY in Singapore this year where my parents will be travelling over to the down south.

Lately, I was quite active in posting pictures to the iPhone app, Instagram. Well, this app has been around for quite a long while and I had been using it all along. However, of late, I'm getting more and more hooked to it and also engage the communities in the app. I notice there's an increase of folks following my profile (though it's still little) as well as I followed others. It's also similar to blogging but instead of writing, I just post the pictures to the app and folks will start commenting or like it.

It's very simple to upload photos to the app and what makes it exciting is whenever you see something special, just snap and upload. There are also filters for you to beautified your pictures. If you are on instagram, do follow me and I will follow you back :)

Anyway, I still love blogging and will continue to update my blog in the coming days, especially the CNY. Have a good time, folks!

Finally I got it to help myself ...... it's a stylish, thin, metallic blue and chosen by my kid. Oh well.....before you start being @_@ or >_<,  let me make myself clear again. I got myself a stylus for my iPad so that I can handwritten my notes on my Ipad during meetings instead of writing it on the paper notebook. And yes, it's call IStroke!




Got it at epicentre in Pavillion for RM99 and it works pretty well when 'stroking' my Ipad. I downloaded one of the best notes app in the market called Notes Plus and both combined well. By uploading my docs to either dropbox or Google docs, I'm ensured that my notes are stored on the Cloud. Well, I'm looking forward to dump my notepads when back to office and start being environment friendly and more organised.

She accompanied me to work daily and keeping me company almost 24 hours a day. She was a great companion for me during my long 1 hour bus ride to work where she entertains me and updates me on the latest happenings around the neighbourhood (and these are not gossips like the aunties), around the country and around the world. She also provided me spiritual solace to me with Bible verses daily and sometimes when I'm lazy to read, she will read it to me.

She accompanied me to meetings and like a personal assistance, helped me to note down all  the facts and minutes where it can be typewritten or written like a pencil. She can also duplicate the exact copy of the discussion notes on the whiteboard in image format.

At night, she was a great companion when I was about to retire by linking me up with my old and new friends in messengers . She also encouraged me to blog hop and I can comment on others' blog easily just by gently touching her. And, she was always besides me by switching on the relaxing music while I'm about to sleep.

She's slim and sleek and I always carried her around. Here's how she looks like ....

I was testing out some of my company's blogs which was powered by Wordpress where we just upgraded it to the latest version, 3.0.1, in our hosting server. While accessing  the blogs on my iphone, I discovered that there's a Wordpress app for the iOS (or rather for iPad/iPhone).

I downloaded it and was impressed! Imagine you can blogged while on the road especially if you are taking public transport like train or buses to work. Of course, we can still access the non-mobile friendly sites but it will be very cumbersome to blog. This app can be handy for folks like me who travel for 1 hour plus on the bus to work daily. Anyway, I guess this app is more meant for the iPad rather than iPhone. In addition, Wordpress for iOS also have geo-tagging features, where folks will know where you were when posting your blog.I feel like reactivate back my wordpress blog. :)


It will be great if blogspot also supports mobile blogging. Currently, it's already difficult to read blogspot posting on the small screen where I needed to zoom in all the time, like reading any non mobile-friendly sites. However, good thing that blogspot allowed adverts.
