I find that sometimes angels don't have to be appeared with a winged, pure, fair and holy look as seen in books or movies. In fact, I realize angels are everywhere! I do have encounters with angels before and I believe you too!

On certain occasions during work, I got reminders or alerts from my boss or colleagues about something related to my projects and the reminders always came at a right time! It prevented something to go awry with my work. I also realize sometimes certain thing discussed or actions just taken as suggested by someone which can be out of the blue, provides the answer to me later in a meeting. Once my user, who heard some news, came to prepare me for it and I have a ready answer for it when needed later. And, best of all, I remember 7 years ago, I was down with a gastric flu and because of the vomiting and diarhoea, my body lacks fluid and the whole body began to cramp! At the right time, my ex-room-mate returned back and called the ambulance! These happened at the right time!

I guess being good, kind and helpful and goes to the great length to provide assistance to others will make us an 'angel' to others! And, these goodness are taught by the Lord God, thus, by obeying His Words, we are actually performing his duty! Thus, though we do not have wings or magical powers, the sword of kindness and the shield of compassion create temporary angels in us.A simple reminder which doesn't take much efforts may go all the way to prevent some disasters for our co-worker, friends, relatives and etc. A small donation can make a big difference. A simple gesture of kindness makes someone's day or saved a life!

Have a blissful, peaceful and relaxing weekend! :)

Here's a pix taken with my cell group members. The group is not big, around 10 persons to the max but not all turns up for the weekly meeting and I'm one of those who was not a regular. I usually went monthly since the meeting place is too far away for me in terms of working place or my home in Singapore. Well, the church is in JB but since all of us worked in Singapore, the group was formed in 2008 to cater to folks who stayed and worked in Singapore.

Ever since I joined a cell group, I find that it helps me to grow in my Bible knowledge, though it's slow and gradual for me, and that could be because I didn't attend regularly. Another good thing about cell group is, you can discuss your problems with your group and they will help you to pray about it or even help you out with your problem, if it's within their means.

When I first attended my church, I was a lone ranger where I don't even know anyone there. And  that goes on for almost a year till I found this cell group and started to get to know folks there. Thus, it's also a good platform to socialise with your fellow Christian brothers and sisters.

Contrary to some other folks who said that blogging is a waste of time (unless you are promoting your business), show off your life to the world, nothing better to do and etc, I beg to differ. In fact, blogging is therapeutic and healing. This is especially so if you are bogged down by some issues or feel down or thought something can be done better, you pen (or type) down your thoughts and suddenly, you feel better. Solutions might flow in to you too. You actually express yourself and once you did that, you felt better. It's like telling others your problems or how you felt about something which can be improve and so on.

I especially enjoyed blogging nowadays and especially about life's skills which makes me (or maybe, you) felt better. I used to blog about food and since I have exhausted all the makan places, I decided to switch to something that can help me to feel peaceful and blissful.

Blogging is also a social platform. If you are into certain skills like photography, IT, cooking and etc, you may like to share it with others and in turn, others will share with you. And, you guys might be good friends too since there's a common interest! It's about sharing and learning together and it's fun!

Another thing I like about blogging is I get to see other places from somebody's blog. There's one blog in my blogroll which is about images of Ipoh, which updates me on the happenings back home. And, some traveler's blog certainly taught me the attractions in other places. Of course, not forgetting makan blogs, which finds good food for us. Well, and book reviews too!

Blogging is therapeutic....it makes you feel good, heals, relaxing and keep your worries away :)
