I don't really play darts but was introduce to the game recently and it's really so much difference from I thought. Unlike those sharp pin which can hurt you and thrown onto the wooden board, it was more of an arcade game with different themes. It calculates the points for you, there are sounds when you hit it especially the bull eyes or triple and double rings. You can play over the net to challenge your mates! I saw one guy was playing against a Japanese who resided in Japan and that was so amazing.
The dart board was made of plastic with full of tiny holes to hold the darts while the tip of the darts are made of plastic and safer!! It's quite an affordable game where it cost only a dollar for one game and the darts are affordable too. I just bought a set which cost me around S$50 with a casing. Well, I am sure there might be expensive ones but the set that I bought was good enough for me, and it's heavy too. The heavier it is, the more accurate it seems but it all boils down to skills and consistency, just like bowling or archery. However, I gotta change the tips since it is made of plastic after some games as well as the flights ( the wings at the back). However, all these are very affordable as it cost a few dollars for a big packet!
My "Snow Ice" darts .. looks fabulous right ? |
It's great to have a game over beer or coffee to wind down after work especially on Fridays. And, yes, I found a new hobby though I still run, workout but play lesser badminton now.

Have a great week!
