numb....

I have been training for the 10KM run lately, either on treadmills and on the roads but mainly on treadmills. I guess I will likely run for 4-5KM initially and then, repeatedly walk and run for the other 5KM while enjoying the sceneries and taking pictures... LOL. However, I noticed one of my legs always felt numb especially the feet and lower calf when I have ran for 30 mins. I was wondering could it due to the knee bands I was wearing which might be too tight. Well, need to do some research. Lina and other runners' blogger - Any advice? :)

I had lots of western food lately where I had one in Hard Rock just few days ago and another one at Swensen. I ordered a Sirloin Steak again which comes with a drink. Their steak is not bad though not the best, but it's good enough for lunch.

A medium well sirloin steak

My colleague have a chilli crab pasta , looks appetising and fragrance!

And, a chicken wing small set to share.

  5. All look so so good but I thought if you're training for a marathon you need to go on a special diet, can't indulge in all these, must eat selectively? Don't ask me, I wouldn't know...but I used to see the sportsmistress in the school training the kids, carbo loading and all.

  7. training on a treadmill is definitely different from training on the road ah?? I think each trains you on a different area, but of course I won't know la, must ask Lina.. hehe!!

    1. SK - yeah , treadmill is easier. I find that 3.5km on roads = 5km on treadmill in terms of efforts and exertion.

  11. I do not run long distance as it's not good for me, but I think you need to run more at the park instead of on a treadmill.

  12. I really have no idea why your leg feel numb. Circulation problem? Best to have it checked by a doctor. All the dishes up there look so good especially the steak!

    1. Phong - it's better when I took out the knee band. Maybe it's obstructing the flow of blood due to its tightness.

  17. At our age, every sign of numbness, swells and pain that won't go away needs immediate attention. Don't play-play brother!
