Well, thanks for the comments left in my two previous teasers and it was great to see there are still comments coming in after I stayed inactive for almost a year!! Yeah, I have taken a year break from  blogging and all ready to come back, with some new ideas. I will create some pages of interests in the coming weeks and probably will stick to a few topics instead of 'rojak' posts like the past. Of course, food is included as I always love to introduce new makan places in JB.

I also chose a new theme for the blog instead of using bloggers' themes and I am loving this theme. Hope you guys like it too. More to come albeit gradual updates and will visit your the blogs in my list again!

I be back..... !

LOL ... I finally got some my parcel from a dear blogger , which consisted of a CD that has my favourite selection of songs and some surprise gifts and voila..and a medal too! I was not around when they delivered to me during the CNY week (or didn't even deliver as I didn't see any receipt for collection) and they send the parcel back ! This kind blogger sent it back to me again but my wifey was out and I was at work. However, Poslaju left a receipt this time to ask me to collect at their warehouse.

Well, here's the medal for religiously spamming this blogger's posts...LOL.. And, that was a nice silver medal where my curious kid kept asking me why I got the medal.

Nice medal hor? Got name somemore!!
And, of course, I quickly played the CD on my car entertainment system once I got on the car. These are 'not too old' chinese songs which I heard from the radio but unable to get all of them in a playlist and now, I finally got it! The design of the CD reminds me of my West Lake trip in Hangzhou!!

This nice blogger also gave me two gifts, a key poach and a mini name card holder. The former came just right as my car key as well as my home keys are in a mess, only to be hold by that metal round key chain, as I don't bother about organising it. As for the name card holder, it will be handy when I am out for meetings. Thanks again, SK!!

Oh, life's seems back to normal or back to the grind as CNY ends today! Sigh... that also the end of the holiday season which started in December and I have the Good Friday long weekend to forward to now. And, I am also back to my favourite meal at Lavendar Bistro.

Cappuccino

And my favourite Ham and Cheedar Cheese Ciabatta
Have a wonderful Chap Goh Meh to all my Chinese readers and have a great week!

Finally Poslaju didn't disappoint this time round as they knocked on my door and delivered a nice parcel to me. I was lucky, just arrived home 15 minutes earlier and there they came. Anyway, I already expecting the parcel and what's to be delivered and special thanks to SK for taking the time to produce my playlist. Well, these are the songs that I wanted to buy online where I can listened to it whenever I go for a run or taking my long journey to work. I also received my first CNY card from SK after so many years !! Well, as you know, nowaday folks no longer send CNY cards, instead they whatapps and etc. Again, thanks to SK for taking the time to produce the CD for me. Greatly appreciated it!

LOL ... SK even printed a ramen on the CD. Now... whenever I see the CD, I need a ramen fix. haha...
Meanwhile, over the last weekend, it was my little princess birthday and we decided to go to some nice posh restaurant to eat. And, here we are again in Yew's Cafe.

My kid had a pasta. Very creamy with lots of ham!

My wifey shared a avocado cream chicken chop with my little princess

I had a black pepper lamb chop.

My long black coffee... they always makes good coffee!

A slice of chocolate cake for my little princess but she ended up wanting ice-cream. So, the brother finished the cake. haha... It was soft and lots of dark chocolate.

And, her scoop of chocolate ice cream.

Enjoying her ice-cream

Too busy ....
Have a good week , folk!! :)

This is one precious 'kampua' noodles which flew miles across the South China Sea to the southern part of West Malaysia. And, in addition, since my family and I were not around when the Poslaju men delivered the package, I have to drive around 10KM to Pasir Gudang from JB. Since I am not familiar with the Pasir Gudang area, I gotta stop by two petrol kiosks to ask for directions to the Poslaju warehouse under a rainy day. When I got the parcel, I was like ..phew... I finally got it.... How precious is it!! LOL...

Thus, this will certainly make the noodles tastier and it was still looking good and in one piece. I will try it later since I am already back in Singapore. Thanks again STP for your kind gift! :) Hope to try the cooked kampua noodles by the experts in Sibu some day!

Wow..... this is the first time I received gifts from fellow bloggers and it came in a pair! Not sure if its a coincident where both lovely bloggers went for their tours almost at the same time though different destination but I was elated to see some little surprises from the Postman.

Firstly, Rose's gift came first where I picked it up from my postbox. It was a lovely traditional Siamese keychain with a Thai mask. And, it came with some sweets....which makes the gift so much sweeter!! Thanks Rose!! :) I always love Thai stuffs!

Golden keychain from Rose with some Thai delicacies
Next, came Wenn who sent it thru Poslaju which was received by my wifey. She just got back from Europe and she got me a beautiful keychain in the form of a boat. And, how thoughtful she is, she knew I love coffee and she put in two packs of ah Huat's specialty coffee. It was the 'kao' type and the 'hazelnut' type. Well, I usually drank the less sugar and kopi-O type from Ah Huat and good to try out new flavour.

A beautiful keychain from Wenn
I have yet to open the keychains and I guess I will not but just keep it. Thanks again to Rose and Wenn, really appreciate your tokens of appreciation! :)

With cousin sis, Claire...
Well, Claire and family were around town this week and since they stayed quite near to my working place, I thought it's a good idea to give them a treat. :) It only took me 15 mins to reach the restaurant and they were already there shopping, since it's a mall too.

We went to a chinese restaurant and order a package meal. The place is neat and clean and nice ambiance too with good services.

It was not very crowded then as it's already around 8pm plus when we patronised the eatery. Here are the food we ordered -

Fragrant steam rice
Soup for each one of us - Watercrest Soup
Some vegetables cooked with egg... hehe...dunno what's the name ofthe vege..
Claypot honey chicken
Dessert
It was great to meet them again since CNY and we really got a lot of catching up to do, not just with the mommy Claire but her kids too. Will see if I can meet them again before they leave Singapore for home.

Since my in laws and wifey prefers to go out later of the day, I decided to bring my kid out to nearby Sunway Pyramid on an early Saturday afternoon. I only been there once and thought it's a great opportunity to look around. It's around 20 mins drive from where I stayed.

We arrived at the entrance near Starbucks and decided to eat something since we are feeling hungry. We were walking and checking out the food there but can't find anything we like. Thus, we decided on Old town coffee. And, while I was there looking for a place in that crowded eatery, I bumped into Merryn and her cute kid, Ethan. She was covering some event at Sunway Lagoon and it's really a coincidence! She's the first blogger I ever met so far !! I also met her hubby, William, later while on the way to Sunway Lagoon as he's struggling to find a parking.... it's really jam-packed over there!!
My kid, myself with Merryn and ...err..where's Ethan ?

ok, there you are cute boy...
My kid had a good time with Ethan as they shared their ...errr... 'knowledge' on iPhone games. It was cute seeing these two little boys pressing each other Iphones. And, Ethan is really a cute and nice boy!

Me and my kid again....
Merryn left quite soon as she needed to rush for her event while me and my kid began our shopping adventure in Sunway Pyramid. Well, the mall is really massive and we really don't know which directions to go. Anyway, my kid ended up with two toys and two storybooks... while I didn't buy anything! :(
Taken at Sunway Lagoon
Earlier, we strolled around Sunway Lagoon (without the ticket) to get a glimpse of the park. I never been to the place and thought it's a good idea someday to bring my kids in. Took some pixs of the park below -
Lots of folks in Sunway Lagoon
wow..felt like playing too...
It was really an hot afternoon and before I knew it, we have already spent almost 4 hours there!! Anyway, great to meet Merryn, William and Ethan !!
