Most of the folks never really heard of this peaceful little town, until a local chinese drama, The Seeds Of Life, was aired on NTV7. In fact, I didn't watch this drama till my wifey told me about it. Visitors started pouring in to this peaceful town and which is a boon to the seafood eateries there! The place was somewhere north of Kuala Selangor and can be access via the coastal trunk.

What I got attracted to this town was the beautiful and massive yellow and green paddy fields! It greets you as you're entering the town and you will never failed to catch a glimpse of the massive fields unless it's night time. The best thing is, you can get as close as you like to the paddy fields! I saw some folks even plucked the paddy plants out and started savouring the paddy. Wonder how to eat it since it's so hard and not cook!
So serene!

massive chunks of paddy fields around here!
Never had been so close to the paddy fields!
guess the irrigation here is very deep!
heard that this factory was used as one of the filming location for the drama

We drove to the other side of Sekinchan, heading to the seaside. This makes Sekinchan special, a town which planted paddy fields but yet a fishing village. You can have a good view of medium size fishing boats as well as seafood factories while driving in. Go deeper inside and you will reached the breezy seaside. Lots of folks there enjoying the breeze while some are fishing. There are countless seashells at the beach and my kids having a good time collecting it!

Since my in laws and wifey prefers to go out later of the day, I decided to bring my kid out to nearby Sunway Pyramid on an early Saturday afternoon. I only been there once and thought it's a great opportunity to look around. It's around 20 mins drive from where I stayed.

We arrived at the entrance near Starbucks and decided to eat something since we are feeling hungry. We were walking and checking out the food there but can't find anything we like. Thus, we decided on Old town coffee. And, while I was there looking for a place in that crowded eatery, I bumped into Merryn and her cute kid, Ethan. She was covering some event at Sunway Lagoon and it's really a coincidence! She's the first blogger I ever met so far !! I also met her hubby, William, later while on the way to Sunway Lagoon as he's struggling to find a parking.... it's really jam-packed over there!!
My kid, myself with Merryn and ...err..where's Ethan ?

ok, there you are cute boy...
My kid had a good time with Ethan as they shared their ...errr... 'knowledge' on iPhone games. It was cute seeing these two little boys pressing each other Iphones. And, Ethan is really a cute and nice boy!

Me and my kid again....
Merryn left quite soon as she needed to rush for her event while me and my kid began our shopping adventure in Sunway Pyramid. Well, the mall is really massive and we really don't know which directions to go. Anyway, my kid ended up with two toys and two storybooks... while I didn't buy anything! :(
Taken at Sunway Lagoon
Earlier, we strolled around Sunway Lagoon (without the ticket) to get a glimpse of the park. I never been to the place and thought it's a good idea someday to bring my kids in. Took some pixs of the park below -
Lots of folks in Sunway Lagoon
wow..felt like playing too...
It was really an hot afternoon and before I knew it, we have already spent almost 4 hours there!! Anyway, great to meet Merryn, William and Ethan !!

I always love to go to the Curve whenever I was in the Klang Valley. It's really a spacious shopping mall and with IKEA around, we never failed to spend at least 3 hours there. This time I plan to go around the mall while my family walked around IKEA. I noticed something special here at the mall - The Movie Carnival. It was getting quiet and thus I took this opportunity to snap as much pixs as I want.

Cute little blue smurfs making their comeback...feel like squeezing them ...!!
is this predator 3 ? I'm really outdated!
Going to watch this soon ... Like the '3D effects' here on the pix
more little blue things..arrhhh...
oooh...finally found my gang. luv them!
all time masterpiece ... the duel between Qui-Gonn and Darth Maul.
Too bad I was there quite late at almost 945pm and the mall was closing, except IKEA. Thus, I joined my family there and went around to see if there's any good stuffs to shop. Got some snacks, salmon cream, a small coffee table, hangers and ice-cream, which cost only RM1.

And, my kids having a good time at the nearby playground....
My two little kids' having a good time there!
