sacrifice ....

Somehow I find it strange. Whenever there's a running event approaching, I will feel kinda regret for signing up for it as that will means I cannot go back to JB for that weekend, and I cannot see my family. Whenever, I thought it, I felt a bit depressing as I can only see them once a week and it's kinda sad to see my little girl face waving bye-bye to me when they send me off on Sunday night. However, on the other hand, after I completed each event, I felt like signing up for another upcoming interesting race, like standard chartered or sundown marathon. LOL ... Well, I have signed up for two events just after the standard chartered marathon ended back in December. I am doing two Half-Marathons, the NTUC 350 run next weekend and the Sundown night run in May. Thus, since I also needed to accompany my wifey home for the Ching Ming Festival this weekend, I decided to take a day off on Monday, as I will be seeing them two weeks later after that.

My running tee ... I purposely shade off my bib no. for the meantime... LOL

Since it was a long weekend last week in Singapore, I didn't collect the race pack by myself but asked my colleague to collect for me. Thus, I missed out on the exhibition booths which usually there are a lot of sports stuffs on displayed and errr... for purchasing. OK la... I save some money here...hahaha...but I didn't save on a dinner with my family. We had some nice seafood at Manhattan Fish Mart in Tebrau City.

My mini seafood platter, consisted of squids, fish, prawns and fries.

A dory fish for my kid

And fish and chips for my little princess and wifey to share.

Have a great weekend! :)

  5. Love fish and chips. Normally that's what I order if I go to western restaurant because I hardly fried fish at home.

  6. It must be hard for you to be away from your family most of the time. It's a big sacrifice for you and your family.

  9. All my friends very often complained about their kids taking all their time, freedom and hard earned money! Their lifestyle is their own choice made. I could only advise them to be a good father and hubby while they still could.
Kaneeneh!! They had to chide me back for traveling so much without worries. Is that their worries for me to travel??... I just wonder??

I love that seafood platter you had. I always look for combos like this in the menus as that could be more interesting to enjoy. Happy weekend Chris.
