Motivated ...

After the highs of finishing my first half-marathon last Sunday, life's seems back to normal especially when the working week started. It's still seems very surreal to me as I never thought I will go for a half-marathon as well as finishing it. With the Standard Chartered Marathon opening for registration soon, (love their running tee design) I wanted to participate in it for another HM and also thinking of improving my timing and run this time round. Thus, I went to search for training plans which can accommodate my schedule and I saw some 3-days a week programs. Another way is to join some running clubs or folks or attend a clinic. Anyway, I am lacking running mates as most of my friends who ran with me are not interested in joining events, and I don't like to go alone as it can be lonely. That's my objective now - to search for training programs and running kakis... :) Of course, need to train better too!

I didn't go back to JB last weekend due to the HM and I do miss home. Will be taking a day off on Friday to spend more time with my family, since Friday is weekend in JB. I still remember what we had two weeks ago at Anmour Cafe in Permas Jaya.

Seafood Spaghetti for my kid

Fish and Chips for my little princess who shared with my wife

Lamp Chop for me

Ice cream and brownie for my kids to share

Have a good mid-week! :)

  4. well, lack of running mates as your friends are not joining events?? then you should even go to those events and clinics alone!! that's how you make new friends and have running mates.. those who go to the events have the same interest as you and I am sure you will click well with them.. :)

  7. That's a good meal.

By the way, I shared a training plan for a 9 weeks 2:15 HM and it works.

Can dig it out, if you want. I followed it for my 2012 HM.

  8. I always want to look for running mate, but I know I'm too lousy and those I want to run along, they're too good, so I can imagine like on the spot they will be the one waiting for me. Then I thinking of going alone, but I feel very lazy to go alone....

    1. Xiao Ying - They don't really need to wait for you during the run but jut that all of you go to the run together. The more the merrier, just like Lina and her gang. After the run ,can have a meal together and celebrate as well as train together.
