Eat too much....

Well, I was kinda under stress last weekend and I ended up having some comfort food. With a lousy mood, even my wifey doesn't dare to stop me with my orders as below.

Tom Yum soup ... not as authentic but good for a fix

Nasi Lemak with fried chicken

Chendol
Then, after the heavy meal, the can't think straight me stop by for durians despite a full stomach and chose two nice D101. Well, thanks to some basic skills of durian choosing from my in law, I managed to get two good ones which the seller even said if I buy more, I will take away all his good durians... ahem...self-compliment. Anyway, the D101 was fleshy, sweet and small seeds.

And, I complaint of gastric, stomach bloatedness and nauseating the evening , which handed me a MC. :( Lesson learn ... don't over-eat when stress... hahahah...

  1. Hello Handsome. A good lesson for you not to indulge in binge eating when you are down. You should head for a good massage and ask masseur to lift your spirit up.

  6. actually not a lot also, just a normal three course meal, you had appetizer, main course and a dessert.. a lot for you but definitely not way too much for you I guess, afterall you could finish all them and still go for durians!! hehe..

    1. SK - Its a wrong mixture. If I had fish soup noodles instead with kopi, then no issues with durians. hahaha

  7. and so this is also your way of getting an MC, overeat huh?? haha, hope you are feeling better now.. I guess the culprit would have been the durians, if you just stopped eating without the durians I guess you won't kena~~ :)

    1. Yannie - I usually don't do that but I will go for a run. Running is best to de-stress.

  10. You bought your D101 from Singapore or JB?

I've heard that durians are better quality in Singapore, all our AAA grade goes to China or HK or Singapore and from my personal experience (had durians in Singapore twice) it seems to be true. Sellers are more honest in Singapore too and the prices can sometimes be on par with Malaysia, or slightly higher.

I had Red Prawn yesterday, am looking for durians later too.

    1. HB - hahaha..that I dunno. I usually bought from JB as I cannot finished all in SG. I guess the price not much difference and the durians are imported from Johor mostly.

    2. HB is correct about the best durians. Here is a real story that every year the best Musang King durians in a private farm in Pahang is all bought up and air flown to Macau by Stanley Ho who shared them with HKG Li Ka Shing. My in laws get their supplies from this farm too and they are the BEST I ever tasted.
