quietness.....

Most of the time, in order to wind down and relax, you don't really need to drive far away to some nice places  (though that can pleasant too) or spent a fortune for an overseas trip (of course, I don't mind one.. :P). To me, it's good enough to go to a nice, air-conditioned and quiet cafe and indulged in some nice coffee and cakes or toasts. That was what I had last Saturday and I might do it again this weekend.

My favourite Espresso Americano

And of course, I love kaya toasts
It's weekend and time to wind down. Have a good one! :)

  3. Enjoy your weekend and your me-time, working makes our free time more meaningful and precious, imagine if you are not working and you have all the free time in the whole world, then it would be very boring and your free time is not meaningful to you anymore, so makes the full use of our time, working and then relaxing, that is the best, you understand what I am talking about here? Hee hee

  4. I personally think that it is the best way to unwind too... going out on a place that was not really that crowded and very relaxing.... not to mention if the place has a nice ambiance... I am a coffee guy so definitely coffee would be very comforting to me...

  5. Exactly!!! People go places on holidays - do so many things, running here and there, spend all their money and come home, dead tired and absolutely broke...and they call that a holiday! So ridiculous! I wish I could have a house in the country - peace and quiet and open air, rest and relaxation - post in my blog on that coming soon!

  6. I missed those quiet moment where I could be alone and read my novel in a cafe. Sigh!! Now I need to read in my bed with my kids running around and making noises. Hahaha.

    1. Read novel in a café with earphones playing FM radio, reading and listening to songs at the same time, that is the best

  11. I agree too; there is no necessity to take the long drive out to another state or a resort town. Home is sometimes the best place to take a break, but I do believe in slipping away to favorite haunts to recharge one's batteries....

  12. I love a cup of coffee with bread or cookies or cakes, but then why I don't have that luxury free time on weekend? I am too busy with my exercise on weekends.
