I usually didn't get enough sleep during the weekdays as I tend to delay my sleeping time till 1am before I finally had enough of 'waking time' and hit the bed. LOL ... Somehow I am always busy during night time, there seems a lot of non-work related to do and yes, blogging is one of them, besides reading all sorts of online news especially football as well as books.

Anyway, after a 5KM run yesterday, I was really tired and I had 7 hours of uninterrupted sleep till my biological clock woke me up at 7.20am, 40 mins earlier than my alarm clock. I felt so refreshed throughout the day and that also reminds me that though I workout, took supplements but I still didn't sleep enough most of the time. Thus, it's really time to put away this bad habit and sleep early. After all, a good night sleep makes me a more jolly person and more energetic in work as well as exercise. Having a flexi-work time, I can go to the office earlier and leave early for my other activities.

On the other hand, I still find the Singapore fried bee hoon is one of the best dishes around here. No matter which food-courts I went, the bee hoon never failed me most of the time. It was filled with lots of small chunks of meat, slices of fried egg (you can asked for an extra fried egg), vegetables and squeezed some lime juice onto it and it was really good for an hungry stomach. Well, after all, it was called Singapore bee hoon, so it must be good in Singapore. I love this dish since I started working in Singapore back in the mid-90s.

Have a good weekend and remember to sleep at least 7-8 hours a day. :)

I felt bad last Sunday as I didn't attended church services for three weeks, due to some reasons. However, while feeling lousy on that day,  I remembered what my Pastor told me during my baptism class 3 years ago that it's important to have fellowship with my church members, like a family. Most of the time, I am more like a passenger in church, attended service and go back and come back again the following week. I used to join a small care group but the group has been disbanded as most of the members have converted their membership to churches in Singapore. My church is in JB. After remembering what my Pastor said, I felt much better as though attending the church corporate services are important, the fellowship too shouldn't be ignored else it's really no point I go to church week in and week out like a lone ranger.  I will try to join some of the events and seminars in my churches as well as continue to serve the church as ushers and will be taking on additional roles as an audio visual guy.

Over the last Saturday, since its a long weekend, it's a family day out at Tebrau City and we ended up having our dinner at Kinsahi Restaurant after shopping. It's been a while since we dined there. Well, we ordered some sushi, a ramen and a bento. Their food actually not bad, the sushi are very fresh.

An assortment of sushi

Sake maki - My favourite!!

Kinsahi's special sushi.
My salmon bento which I shared with my little princess

My kid's Kani maki and Ebiko sushi .
I didn't took the pix of the ramen which my wifey shared with my kid as it was average only, cannot compared to those that I had in SG which is more authentic. I have yet to try a good ramen in JB so far.  I shall have one this week in SG, maybe. :)

I turned a year younger today and how pleasant it is since it is a long weekend.  Finally, can bring the kids out again but then, due to some 'disruption' where they have to attend a birthday party of my kid's classmate and neighbour, we can't go anywhere far but stay around home, which means it was going to the malls. If not, we could have travelled far. I got a day off today as its an entitlement from my company but I'm laze around over the weekend by waking up late.

My wifey asked me yesterday where I wanted to go for dinner and I thought of having a steak. Thus, we headed to Yew's Cafe which makes good and affordable steaks.

Mushroom soup for my kid

My Rib-Eye Steak

Chicken Chop for my kid

Yang Chow Fried Rice for my little princess to share with wifey

Banana Split for the kids

Look how delighted she was ....

And,  a nice cuppa of flat white for me
I still prefer Sirloin steak as it is not so 'chewy' than rib-eye, though the latter is more expensive. OK, nothing grand, just celebrate with a simple dinner and rest with watching football, badminton and blu-ray at home. And, with more wisdom and exercise, I felt much younger ! :P
