Though over the years, I had a lot of Japanese food but I seldom had it in KL. My bro-in-law brought us to this Rotary Sushi restaurant in Puchong Jaya and I like the ambiance there. It was crowded on a Friday night despite around 9pm. Well, I guess city folks used to have their dinner late, just like me...LOL. The price is also reasonable though I was not the one paying, but just helping myself to the food...muahahahaha..!

It was crowded when we reached there and we gotta wait for a little while

One of their specialty was using a refrigerated conveyor belt system. I guess that keep the sushi fresh and hygienic too.

A salmon mentai for my kid and Tobiko sushi for my little princess

I was ogling at the sake but I didn't order la... hahaha... paisey

I ordered a Tuna Maki. The tuna seems thick !

As well as a Salmon sashimi set (above and below). The sashimi was thick!

A teriyaki rice set for my kids

Assorted sushi shared among us

My bro in law and his wifey  love the garlic rice there and even my wife also ordered one, while enjoying the sushis.

Unagi sushi wraps in cheese.

The captain asked us to like their facebook page where we will be given free desserts. I like it and got an ice-cream and mochi for my kids.

Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience and I don't mind patronizing Rotary Sushi again. I didn't take all the sushi pixs there and will try to snap more when I go there again!

After my church service last Saturday, I thought of bringing my kid for some western food so that I can get him a birthday cake. His birthday falls on last Monday, which coincide with the Mooncake festival. However, since he wanted to have Japanese food instead of western food, we decided to go to one of the nearby Japanese restaurants. Well, if you noticed why sometimes I seems to post Japanese food in my blog, that's because there were around five restaurants here in JB for us to choose. And, in Singapore, just the Northpoint mall along, there were four Japanese restaurants, including my favourite ramen house, sakae sushi, a Japanese food court and a Japanese buffet. :)

Tobiko Sushi - my kids favourite.

Kani maki - ordered by my kid.

Their specialty home sushi with egg roe on top

I had a simple Yaki Meshi fried rice since we intend to have  sushi. There was a sushi promotion last Saturday.

Well, btw, I learnt something from this video which my Japanese friend shared it on her facebook.

Have a good mid-week!

Last week was a busy week for me and I don't really find the time (or rather the mood) to blog. Anyway, glad it's weekend again and it was also my kid's birthday. I asked him what he wanted to have for dinner and he wanted Japanese food. It's a good idea too since he was down with a sore throat. Ok, with that, we head for Mori Restaurant in Permas Jaya, JB. Initially we wanted to go to Niyumaru, which was quite popular in JB but it was really crowded then when we reached there.

There was a 30% discount for all sushi in Mori and we ordered quite lot of sushi, just for three adults and two small ones. What I like this place was it's quiet and you can really relax and wind down there compared to Niyumaru. There were also a lot of Japanese patronising this restaurant.

Ebiki sushi and salmon maki - my kids' favourite

I ordered a fried rice .... I always love Japanese fried rice

Ebi Fry Maki

Salmon Yuzu Maki

Salmon Teriyaki Bento Set

Overall, it was a lot of food for us and we have to slowly enjoyed the food and stayed longer at the restaurant, enjoying the relaxing atmosphere. I was really full!! Need to workout harder next week. :P
